Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Fincora collects when you use fincora.ai, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Fincora is operated by Bilal Masood, Islamabad, Pakistan ("we", "us").
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and your name and profile photo if you sign in with Google.
- Study data: the questions you answer, your answers, scores, mock exam results and progress by topic.
- Written answers you choose to have marked: the text of your answer, and the marks and feedback you receive.
- Technical data: basic information our hosting provider records when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used for security and to keep the service running.
We do not collect payment card details. When paid plans open, payments will be handled on the payment provider's own secure page.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To save your progress and mock exam results and show your weak topics.
- To mark written answers when you ask us to.
- To answer your questions and tell you about important changes to the service.
- To understand how Fincora is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
Marking of written answers
Instant marking is carried out automatically by software, which includes an AI model provided by Anthropic. Your answer and the question are sent to that provider only to produce your marks and feedback. Tutor reviews are checked, adjusted where needed and approved by a qualified tutor before you see them; the tutor may use automatically prepared suggested marks as a starting point.
Who we share data with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
- Anthropic: marking of written answers.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Resend: sending sign-in links and service emails.
These providers may store data outside Pakistan. We only use providers that protect personal data to a high standard. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and study data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@fincora.ai. We aim to reply within 30 days. We give these rights to every student, wherever they live. We also follow the data protection laws that apply to you, such as the UAE's or the UK's, and Pakistan's own law once it is in force.
Cookies and local storage
Fincora uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, remember the exam you were studying and save an unfinished mock exam. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
Fincora is intended for students aged 16 and over.
Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy we will tell you on the website or by email.
